Tarpon Springs home prices fall in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Tarpon Springs fell by $10,050 while total sales increased by 10.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 86 homes sold, with a median sale price of $249,950 - a 3.9% decrease over the $260,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 78 homes sold in Tarpon Springs in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Tarpon Springs for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,270, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for August 2018.
