Tarpon Springs home prices rise in December 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2017 in Tarpon Springs rose by $47,500 while total sales increased by 8.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2017, there were 67 homes sold, with a median sale price of $230,000 - a 26% increase over the $182,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 62 homes sold in Tarpon Springs in December 2016.

The median sales tax in Tarpon Springs for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,270, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for December 2017.
