Tarpon Springs home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Tarpon Springs rose by $35,000 while total sales increased by 23.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 78 homes sold, with a median sale price of $260,000 - a 15.6% increase over the $225,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 63 homes sold in Tarpon Springs in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Tarpon Springs for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,270, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
