San Antonio home prices fall in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in San Antonio fell by $40,500 while total sales increased by 70%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $188,000 - a 17.7% decrease over the $228,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 10 homes sold in San Antonio in August 2017.

The median sales tax in San Antonio for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,431, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for August 2018.
