Holiday home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Holiday rose by $14,950 while total sales increased by 19.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 148 homes sold, with a median sale price of $76,000 - a 24.5% increase over the $61,050 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 124 homes sold in Holiday in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Holiday for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $767, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
