San Antonio home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in San Antonio rose by $12,250 while total sales increased by 13.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 42 homes sold, with a median sale price of $194,750 - a 6.7% increase over the $182,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 37 homes sold in San Antonio in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in San Antonio for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,431, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
