Odessa home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Odessa rose by $69,250 while total sales decreased by 18.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 40 homes sold, with a median sale price of $319,250 - a 27.7% increase over the $250,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 49 homes sold in Odessa in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Odessa for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,356, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
