Holiday home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Holiday rose by $16,400 while total sales decreased by 13.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 338 homes sold, with a median sale price of $70,000 - a 30.6% increase over the $53,600 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 392 homes sold in Holiday in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Holiday for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $767, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
