Land O Lakes home prices rise in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Land O Lakes rose by $24,500 while total sales decreased by 8.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 341 homes sold, with a median sale price of $210,000 - a 13.2% increase over the $185,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 371 homes sold in Land O Lakes in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Land O Lakes for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,503, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
