New Port Richey home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in New Port Richey rose by $18,000 while total sales decreased by 29.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 1,480 homes sold, with a median sale price of $135,000 - a 15.4% increase over the $117,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 2,095 homes sold in New Port Richey in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in New Port Richey for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,285, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
