Land O Lakes home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Land O Lakes rose by $26,900 while total sales decreased by 27.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 624 homes sold, with a median sale price of $224,900 - a 13.6% increase over the $198,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 864 homes sold in Land O Lakes in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Land O Lakes for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,503, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
