Land O Lakes home prices rise in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Land O Lakes rose by $23,100 while total sales decreased by 7.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 788 homes sold, with a median sale price of $215,000 - a 12% increase over the $191,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 848 homes sold in Land O Lakes in the first half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Land O Lakes for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,503, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2017.
