New Port Richey home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in New Port Richey rose by $16,300 while total sales decreased by 18.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 3,679 homes sold, with a median sale price of $126,100 - a 14.8% increase over the $109,800 median sale price for the previous year. There were 4,494 homes sold in New Port Richey in 2016.

The median sales tax in New Port Richey for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,285, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for 2017.
