Port Richey home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Port Richey rose by $16,400 while total sales increased by 609.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 362 homes sold, with a median sale price of $109,500 - a 17.6% increase over the $93,100 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 51 homes sold in Port Richey in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Port Richey for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $730, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
