San Antonio home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in San Antonio rose by $82,600 while total sales increased by 925%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 41 homes sold, with a median sale price of $196,000 - a 72.8% increase over the $113,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in San Antonio in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in San Antonio for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,431, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2019.
