San Antonio home prices fall in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in San Antonio fell by $41,600 while total sales decreased by 87.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $113,400 - a 26.8% decrease over the $155,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 32 homes sold in San Antonio in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in San Antonio for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,431, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
