Odessa home prices rose in 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in 2020 in Odessa rose by $39,400 while total sales decreased by 23.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2020, there were 109 homes sold, with a median sale price of $295,000 - a 15.4% increase over the $255,600 median sale price for the previous year. There were 142 homes sold in Odessa in 2019.

The median sales tax in Odessa for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,356, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for 2020.
