The fourth quarter of 2020: Home prices in Odessa increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in Odessa rose by $77,700 while total sales increased by 173.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 41 homes sold, with a median sale price of $314,900 - a 32.8% increase over the $237,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in Odessa in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Odessa for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,356, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
