Dining in the Dark Flyer

Description

Dining in the Dark is Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind’s annual Dinner-Dance fundraiser in Hernando County. Dining in the Dark begins with a cocktail reception, followed by a three-course meal. Then it is time to put on your blindfold for a simulation in darkness, which allows your sense of taste, smell and touch to take over, as you savor your dessert. Dining in the Dark also includes dancing and prize drawings. Guests and people at home can participate in the prize drawings before the event by purchasing their chances online and selecting which prize drawing(s) they want to enter. Then they can watch the live drawings on Facebook. All proceeds from Dining in the Dark benefit Lighthouse programs for people who are visually impaired and blind.
