Pasco County, Florida, Government issued the following announcement on March 12.
ALERT: #PascoCounty and @Coalitionforthehomelessofpasco are providing Cold Weather Sheltering on the east side of the county Saturday March 12, 2022, for anyone who needs a warm place to spend the night.
To make sheltering arrangements, please call (727) 842-8605, Extension 6, by 8 p.m. Saturday.
The low temperatures and wind chills expected Saturday night into Sunday morning could be dangerous to anyone who will be outside for long periods of time. Children, the elderly, and pets are especially vulnerable to the cold, and extra care should be taken to protect them.
