This weekend we held a special unveiling of our 9/11 tribute case at the Tunnels to Towers 5K in Trinity.
One of our firefighters, Vick Brown, made this beautiful case that houses two donated pieces of steel from the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York. His craftsmanship and dedication to detail can be seen in every bit of this case.
We are grateful for the donation of the steel from the Tunnels to Towers organization, our own Vick Brown's hard work to hold it, and the gracious gift from the Firefighters Charities of Pasco County to pay for the case. The piece will be proudly displayed in our headquarters.
After being unveiled at the race, the piece visited other first responder appreciation events around Pasco County.
