We are Southern Commercial Development, LLC. We work with CSX Transportation providing detour signage for railroad crossing closures which require necessary maintenance and emergency repairs. CSX Transportation has scheduled the crossing listed to be closed for an emergency repair due to an identified rail defect on the schedule announced below:

Dade City, FL
Stewart Road (Right off Old Lakeland Hwy, near Sunset St and Oliver Rd)
Closing on/around Tuesday, 11/8/22 @ 8:00am
Set to reopen on/around Thursday, 11/10/22 by 5:00am
*This is a total closure meaning no traffic will be allowed across the track until the work is complete
This will necessitate rerouting traffic. Signage will be in place marking the closure area. Please note the expected closure date(s). We will update you with changes in the schedule as they occur, as they are highly likely in this field of work. Please note that any/all dates are subject to change due to weather and/or other unforeseen conditions. Motorist should anticipate extended travel times and delays. Please avoid this closure area if at all possible.
