Two Good Soles Donations Helps Thousands of Students

A community effort to help Pasco County students put the best foot forward!  The seventh annual Two Good Soles Shoes & Socks Drive stepped up to the challenge resulting in one of our most successful drives yet!

Pasco County Government and Constitutional Offices collected more than 8,000 pairs of shoes and socks for kids in Pasco County Schools!

This year’s drive resulted in 2,832 pairs of shoes and 5,305 pairs of socks donated.  Since 2016, the Two Good Soles drive has collected 15,142 pairs of shoes and 39,762 pairs of socks, which social workers distribute to Pasco students.

“New shoes and socks are a big deal in a child’s life – and they can truly make a world of difference,” said Assistant County Administrator for Public Services Cathy Pearson.  “Our seventh annual Two Good Soles event was a huge success, and we’re both humbled by and proud of the outpouring of generosity from our community and team members!”
