The Pasco Board of County Commissioners (BCC) reorganized at its regular meeting December 6, 2022, in New Port Richey. The board elected Commissioner Jack Mariano to serve as BCC chair and Commissioner Ron Oakley to serve as BCC vice chair.
Pasco County Commissioners also recently welcomed two, newly elected commissioners to the board – Seth Weightman and Gary Bradford – who were sworn in November 22, 2022.
“I want to thank the citizens of Pasco County for the great honor of electing me to this role and I’m looking forward to serving them,” said Commissioner Seth Weightman. “As a fifth generation Pasco native, I’ve seen this community blossom and I’m excited to be a Pasco County Commissioner.”
“I am honored and humbled that the citizens of Pasco County have put their trust in me at this crucial time guiding the future of Pasco County,” said Commissioner Gary Bradford. “I’m committed to representing all our residents to the best of my ability. I’m excited to roll up my sleeves and get to work on the tough challenges ahead.”
The BCC is comprised of the following members:
- Vice Chair Ron Oakley | District 1
- Commissioner Seth Weightman | District 2
- Commissioner Kathryn Starkey | District 3
- Commissioner Gary Bradford | District 4
- Chair Jack Mariano | District 5
County Commission meetings are usually held every other Tuesday, alternating between the West Pasco Government Center in New Port Richey and the Historic Pasco County Courthouse in Dade City. All Pasco BCC meetings are streamed live online and broadcast on Pasco TV.
