As extremely cold air moves into our area, Pasco County is opening a Cold Weather Shelter Saturday, January 14 and Sunday, January 15.
Anyone needing a warm place to spend the night can head to the Mike Fasano Regional Hurricane Shelter in Hudson. The shelter will open each evening at 6 p.m. and close the following morning at 10 a.m.

• WHEN: Saturday, 1/14 & Sunday, 1/15 6 p.m. – 10 a.m.
• WHERE: Fasano Shelter | 11611 Denton Avenue, Hudson
Please note: Transportation and meals are not provided.
The extreme cold expected this weekend could be dangerous to anyone who will be outside for long periods of time. Children, the elderly, and pets are especially vulnerable to the cold, and extra care should be taken to protect them.
