Gus Bilirakis, currently serving as a U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 12th district, expressed his views through a series of social media posts. Bilirakis, who succeeded Michael Bilirakis in Congress in 2007, has been actively communicating on significant issues ranging from international human rights concerns to national days of recognition.

On March 27, 2025, Bilirakis highlighted an urgent human rights issue on social media, stating, "There is overwhelming evidence that China has systemically targeted ethnic and religious minorities for forcibly acquired organ donation and that the country regularly violates internationally-accepted rules regarding organ donorship. We cannot remain silent in the face of these".

In another post dated March 29, 2025, Bilirakis paid tribute to American military personnel, asserting, "As a nation, we owe an immeasurable debt of gratitude to our Vietnam Veterans. Tragically, more than 58,000 American military personnel died in Vietnam. Many others remain missing in action. We will never forget any of these brave Americans".

On the same date, Bilirakis celebrated local business owners, marking March 29 as #NationalMomandPopBusinessOwnersDay. He stated, "Today is #NationalMomandPopBusinessOwnersDay! 'Mom & Pop' businesses often offer superior service as the owners take personal pride in their operations as well as pride in their communities. I encourage everyone to show them your much-deserved appreciation by patronizing".
