On Friday, April 25, former River Ridge High School standout Sophie Johnson’s current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Charlotte 49ers.

The game took place at Wilkins Stadium. This was their first matchup against the 49ers this season.

The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 7:45 p.m. at Wilkins Stadium against Charlotte 49ers.
