On Saturday, Feb. 15, former J. W. Mitchell High School standouts Alexis Barber and Maddie Antioco’s current college team, the Saint Leo Lions, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Tampa Spartans.

The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium against Rollins Tars.
