Pasco County Florida issued the following announcement July 30.

LAND O’ LAKES, FL ---- As one chapter closes, another opens! The Land O’ Lakes Branch  Library in Pasco County will be open reduced hours during the first two weeks of August, before  closing Saturday, August 14, 2021, for renovations.

The library’s hours from August 2 to 13, 2021, will be as follows:

Mondays & Tuesdays: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Wednesdays & Thursdays: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Fridays & Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The library will undergo a complete, floor-to-ceiling renovation, through 2022, made possible by  the General Obligation Bond (GO Bond) Referendum, which Pasco County voters passed in  November 2018. Each library in the county’s system is being remodeled to provide a better user  experience.

Work includes:

 Updated Technology

 New Furnishings

 High-Efficiency A/C

 Faster Internet

You can continue to check out books and other materials at open library branches. Materials on  hold can be picked up at the Land O’ Lakes Recreation Center, next to the Library, on select days.  Please visit: PascoLibraries.org for more information.
