Self-serve sandbag sites are open all around #PascoCounty

Pasco County, Florida, Government issued the following announcement August 14.

Be prepared! Self-serve sandbag sites are open all around #PascoCounty to help you prepare for possible flooding from #Fred. Bring a shovel and head to any of these locations:

- W.H. Jack Mitchell, Jr. Park, 4825 Little Rd., New Port Richey

- Magnolia Valley Golf Course, 7223 Massachusetts Ave., New Port Richey

- Veterans Memorial Park, 14333 Hicks Rd., Hudson

- Wesley Chapel District Park, 7727 Boyette Rd., Wesley Chapel

- Land O’ Lakes Recreation Center, 3032 Collier Pkwy., Land O’ Lakes

- Pasco County Public Works (C-Barn), 30908 Warder Rd., San Antonio

- Zephyrhills Fire Station 2, 6907 Dairy Rd., Zephyrhills

The sites are open 24 hours and sand & bags are refilled daily.

*New:

New Port Richey is offering sandbags at 6141 Pine Hill Road

Dade City is offering sand & bags at 38042 Pasco Ave.
