Pasco County, Florida issued the following announcement on August 11.
Wire Road Pavement Project in Zephyrhills
~~Single lane closures set to start week of August 16, 2021~~
ZEPHYRHILLS, FL ---- An alert for Pasco County drivers! The Wire Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project is scheduled to begin the week of August 16, 2021.
Crews will focus on road base rehabilitation, milling, resurfacing and new pavement markings.
The project includes work along the entire three-mile stretch of Wire Road from County Road 54 to Gall Boulevard (U.S. Highway 301). North and southbound lanes will be under construction with single lane closures.
Project Details:
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Message boards will direct traffic
Project is expected to take 32 days to complete, depending on weather conditions
Target completion date is September 17, 2021
Asphalt Paving Systems is the contractor for this Pasco County Department of Public Works project.
