Pasco County Clerk & Comptroller issued the following announcement on November 5.
Face coverings are optional in Florida courthouses beginning Nov. 15 under an order issued Thursday by state Supreme Court Chief Justice Charles T. Canady.
Canady's updated order makes changes reflecting current public health conditions.
Also effective Nov. 15, Baker Act and Marchman Act hearings must be conducted in person.
The changes to temporary health and safety protocols are made to “address the most recent developments and continue to mitigate the effects of the public health emergency on the judicial branch and its participants."
