Pasco County Animal Services issued the following announcement on January 26.
Congratulations to volunteer Deb Forst for receiving the 2021 Director's Award! She is going on three years as a cat socializer.
Deb has a deep love and understanding of our feline friends — her specialty is bringing shy and scared kitties out of their shells. Her photos and descriptions of our cats have been used to create adoption profiles, which help with matchmaking.
Deb identifies medical and behavioral concerns for our staff to address. She also bottle feeds newborns during kitten season. Her unwavering dedication to lifesaving earned her this award, and we're so appreciative to have her on our team!
