Pasco County Fire Rescue issued the following announcement on February 15.
We are grateful to join Florida State Fire Marshal and CFO Jimmy Patronis at TFR Station 1 this afternoon to honor our brothers and sisters of FL Task Force 3.
Today members of CFO Patronis’s cabinet presented members from TFR, HCFR, and SPFR with a ribbon and challenge coin for their heroic actions at Surfside.
We stand with CFO Patronis and feel it’s essential to show our brothers and sisters on Task Force 3 support for their hard work and dedication in rescuing others at Surfside.
Thank you for all you did in Surfside FLTF3. Your actions helped bring many closure during the roughest times in their lives. We are thankful and proud to serve beside you in this honorable profession.
