Pasco County Animal Services issued the following announcement on March 26.
Can you picture yourself here? We're looking for volunteers 16 and older to serve in our veterinary department as surgery recovery monitors!
This crucial role involves watching over animals waking up from surgery and making sure they’re recovering normally. Super important, obviously!
Shifts are weekdays only, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. You'll need to be able to lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop, and sit on the floor for extended periods of time. And, of course, you should be comfortable in a medical setting.
No medical experience? No problem! Our team will provide all training. To get started, fill out an application at pascocountyfl.net/414/Volunteer-Opportunities. We can’t wait to meet you!
