Did you know car crashes are a leading cause of death for teens, and about a quarter of those crashes involve an underage drunk driver?
This week the students of Zephyrhills High School were able to participate in our Prom Promise program which highlights the dangers of driving impaired. With the help of student actors and all of our community partners, we were able to demonstrate a mock DUI crash to give teens a first-hand experience on the severity of driving under the influence as they head to Prom this weekend.
A special thank you to Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Aeromend, Dobies Funeral Home, Fire Rescue Dispatch, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and Pasco Alliance for Substance Addiction Prevention for helping share this important message and supporting our mission of saving lives!
