Happy Birthday, Pasco County!
On this day in 1887, the Florida State Legislature created #PascoCounty when Hernando County was divided into three parts – separating Citrus County to the north and Pasco County to the south.
Pasco County is named after Samuel Pasco, who served as a U.S. Senator from Florida.
