We Rise Up for Environmental Resilience!
Myranda is a Biologist with Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources Regulatory Program. Protecting wildlife is so important as Pasco County continues to rapidly grow. Myranda plays an instrumental role in making sure that the well-being of animals, like gopher tortoises, is considered before construction takes place.
Myranda’s role also takes her to the Gulf where she continues to monitor for any signs of red tide following the 2021 bloom. The water quality data and samples are sent to Florida Fish and Wildlife Research Institute for their research efforts.
