We are thankful to be in attendance in Brevard County today as Governor Ron DeSantis announced the new Coordinated Opioid Recovery Network known as CORE. This public/private partnership is being rolled out in 12 Florida counties, including Pasco County.
Did you know that over 2,000 people have died from drug overdoses across the state in 2022 alone?
The CORE program is a three prong approach including the initial rescue response, treatment and recovery, and long term care. The program was started to combat opioid addiction and provide long term care for patients in an attempt to curb reoccurring overdoses within our community.
Stay tuned for more info on the rollout of the program in Pasco County!
