Pasco County School District had an increase in student enrollment during the 2022-23 school year, according to the Florida Department of Education. Overall, there was a total of 84,032 students enrolled in the district in the academic year.

Data reveals that the majority of students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year were white, representing 56.3% of the Pasco County School District total enrollment.

Additionally, the largest portion of students in the district are enrolled in elementary school grades, making up 44.2% of the total enrollment.

Pasco County School District covers 100 schools within Pasco County, with its main office in Land O Lakes.

Among the 100 schools in Pasco County School District, Land O' Lakes High School recorded the highest enrollment of 2,248 students in the 2022-23 school year.

In 2022, Florida had more than 2.8 million students enrolled in a total of 4,202 schools. There were 163,558 teachers in the public schools, or roughly one teacher for every 17 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.

Private school enrolment increased by more than 51,000 students in the 2021-22 school year, which was a notable rebound after the pandemic. In total, there were 416,084 students enrolled, marking the highest enrollment in private schools reported by the Florida Department of Education in 30 years.
