Gus Bilirakis, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 12th district since 2007, has shared several updates and announcements via social media. Bilirakis, who succeeded Michael Bilirakis in Congress and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, continues to engage with his constituents through various platforms.

On March 18, 2025, Gus Bilirakis extended his gratitude to agricultural workers on National Agriculture Day. He acknowledged their contributions by stating "Happy #AgDay to the men and women who work tirelessly to produce food for our families. Over 3 million Floridians work in the ag industry which generates $511.8 billion in economic output annually. We are grateful for their continued efforts!"

Later that day, he commented on economic developments under President Trump's administration. He noted "Thanks to President Trump, inflation is already on its way down, with the CPI dropping to its lowest level in four years last week. There is more work to do, and our reconciliation package will help build on this momentum by lowering costs and preventing a massive tax hike."

On March 19, 2025, Bilirakis reminded his constituents about an opportunity for young artists in his district. He announced "Reminder- my office is now accepting applications for the 44th Annual Congressional Art Competition, which is open to all high school students in Florida’s 12th Congressional District."
