On May 22, 2025, Bilirakis highlighted the potential consequences for families if a reconciliation bill is not passed. He emphasized his commitment to preventing an "unprecedented tax hike" for his constituents. Bilirakis was born in Gainesville, Florida in 1963 and resides in Palm Harbor. His academic background includes a BA from the University of Florida obtained in 1986 and a JD from Stetson University earned in 1989.
