Gus Bilirakis, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 12th district, recently shared several posts on social media discussing topics ranging from legislative initiatives to historical reflections and immigration issues.

On March 3, 2025, Bilirakis emphasized the importance of a new legislative measure aimed at improving the Medicaid program. He stated: "ICYMI – This commonsense bill will help cut fraudulent payments and help strengthen the Medicaid program for the most vulnerable Americans."

In another post dated March 3, 2025, he commemorated Florida's statehood anniversary by highlighting its development over time. He remarked: "On March 3, 1845, Florida became the nation's 27th state. While our state has experienced tremendous growth and change since its inception, it is still home to the most amazing climate, beautiful natural resources and incredible people. Happy Birthday, Florida."

Later that day on March 3, 2025, Bilirakis addressed concerns about illegal immigration in his tweet: "Hundreds of thousands of criminals were let into this country illegally. We are sending them home and will make sure they can never return. #AmericaFirst"
