Gus Bilirakis, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 12th district, has shared his views on various national issues through a series of tweets. Bilirakis, who succeeded Michael Bilirakis in 2007 and has served since then, addressed topics ranging from national security to identity theft awareness.

On January 28, 2025, Gus Bilirakis expressed support for the current President's efforts in securing the nation's borders. He stated, "It is great to have a President at the helm who cares about making our country safe by securing our border."

Later that day, he highlighted the prevalence of identity theft in America. In his tweet, he mentioned that "Each year, approximately 1 in 10 Americans become victims of identity theft. Take a moment to learn the warning signs so you can protect yourself." This message was part of an initiative known as #IDTheftWeek.

On January 29, 2025, Bilirakis reaffirmed his commitment to public safety concerning illegal immigration. He tweeted about ongoing efforts to address this issue: "Another example of promises kept. We will continue to get dangerous illegal migrants off our streets."
