Gus Bilirakis, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 12th district, recently shared several updates via his social media platform. The posts covered topics ranging from legislative achievements to health initiatives and congratulatory messages for public officials.

On February 4, 2025, Bilirakis expressed satisfaction over President Trump's signing of the Laken Riley Act into law. He emphasized that "This new law requires ICE to detain illegal immigrants who commit crimes. It is a common sense measure to restore law and order to our communities and will help to keep you safe."

Later on the same day, Bilirakis highlighted the importance of cancer prevention and early detection. He stated that "Everyone deserves a chance to stay ahead of cancer through prevention & early detection. Routine cancer screenings can help detect cancer earlier, when there are more treatment options and better chances of survival." He encouraged individuals to find nearby screening facilities.

The following day, February 5, 2025, he congratulated Pam Bondi on her appointment as Attorney General. In his message, he conveyed confidence in her capabilities by stating "Congratulations to my friend and our new Attorney General, @PamBondi I am confident that you will do an amazing job!"
