Spotlight on one special volunteer: Maritza Torres is a woman with a heart the size of Pasco County. She spent 10-years working for the Pasco County Clerk and Comptroller’s Office before leaving due to a family emergency in 2021. Now, she’s caring for her two elderly uncles, but couldn’t stay away. She returned to the records center in Dade City, just a few months after turning in her resignation, as a volunteer! She tries to visit the office at least once a week, but she is a busy individual. Not only does she volunteer at the Clerk’s Office, but she also delivers food to the elderly, and volunteers with her church. Maritza says as long as she’s breathing, she will be giving back. Once her personal life calms down, she hopes to return to the Clerk’s Office, at least part time. Maritza, we are honored to have YOU as a part of OUR family! #ServeAndConnect
